I had the opportunity to co-host with Tracey Nguyen Mang over at the Vietnamese Boat People Podcast at the Northwest Vietnamese Student Association‘s Annual Leadership Summit 2023: Rekindling our ROOTS in late March.
Our session “From Photos to Stories” covered how to use photos to spark writing ideas, whether they’re for journals or essays. Attendees had the opportunity to reflect on personal photos and then write about them. The short writing exercise gave them a starting point for crafting a more substantial piece that they could one day post on VBP’s Journeys Map.
