Our Journeys: Stories of Hope, Survival, and Resilience
Out of hundreds of photos and memories came one book: Our Journeys: Stories of Hope, Survival, and Resilience
I had the honor of collaborating with Tracey Nguyen Mang (Founder of Vietnamese Boat People), Amy M. Le (Founder of Quill Hawk Publishing), and Katrina Schroeder to bring you this beautiful photo anthology featuring personal narratives and images submitted by our global community. Created to accompany the Our Journeys exhibition presented by VBP this Fall, this book deepens the themes explored in the exhibit.
Divided into three parts—Endurance and Flight, Adaptation and Identity, and Intergenerational Impact & Moving Forward—it offers more than a series of narratives and photographs. It is an invitation to bear witness, to remember, and to reflect.

Cinnamon Spaghetti
Thanksgiving is here, and every year on this holiday, I think back to my childhood when I saw on television and in magazines the incredible and abundant feasts that marked this occasion.
