Songdo Stories

I have lived in Songdo, a small city in South Korea, since late 2019. It’s a compact and high-tech city with green ambitions that was built on reclaimed land. Songdo is new and growing, and there is a great deal to love about it, from the many restaurants that line the streets, to the parks and biking trails that we get to enjoy.

My friend Chantal decided to bring our community together by starting an online magazine that features stories and images about the place we call home. Click here for the first issue of Songdo Stories. The magazine captured a wider audience when the Korea Times ran a story about our new magazine. These are exciting times for our little city!

These poppies burst forth in the Spring of 2020, when it felt as if the world had turned upside down.

The future seemed uncertain but Mother Nature reminded us that we could seek solace in her beauty.
